Costs of Mediation

Publicly funded clients only
All fees are paid by the Legal Services Commission and are not subject to any statutory charge.

For private clients

Initial appointment: ?22 (but the Legal Services Commission meets this cost where the other party is publicly funded)

Mediation sessions: Children issues only Ј44; Finance and Property issues Ј44 - Ј97 ( the fee is assessed on a sliding scale according to income)

Please note
All Family Help clients (and the other party involved) referred by solicitors will be entitled to a free initial appointment. An assessment for public funding for mediation for each client is carried out at that initial appointment and based on current financial circumstances.
