Self Referral Form

A first appointment at the Mediation Service can be arranged as an individual or as a joint appointment. Either way it is essentially an information meeting to help decide whether and how mediation might help in the situation. You will both need to attend such an appointment either separately or together before any mediation can commence.

What happens now? On receipt of this request we shall contact you to arrange a convenient time for your appointment. Individual appointments last 0.5 - 1 hour; joint appointments last 1.5 - 2 hours. Appointments are available Monday to Friday in Peterborough, Tuesdays in Wisbech and Huntingdon, Friday mornings in Oakham. If you have any preferred venue, days or times please detail here.

Cost of first appointment You can be assessed for public funding at the first appointment and if at least one of you is eligible the Legal Services Commission will meet the cost for each of you of the initial information meeting. If neither of you is eligible there is a fee of £22 for an individual meeting and £44 for a joint meeting.
